The 49 Americans was a British band from London (1979 to 1982), consisting of Andrew »Giblet« Brenner and loose members like David Toop, Steve Beresford, Max Eastley, Lol Coxhill, Peter Cusack, Viv Albertine (The Slits), Vivien Goldman, Andrew Brenners mother and some other.
