Soundway Records is a London-based record label founded in 2001 by Miles Cleret, specialising in reissues and rarities.

The smallest common denominator of all releases on Soundway is the love of Afro sounds. But Soundway exhibits precisely the wealth of facets within this cosmos. Whether Nigerian highlife, cumbia from Panama, Afro-Latin grooves from Benin or Colombian champeta, on Soundway the diversity of a sound can be discovered. Miles Cleret, the founder of Soundway, has been collecting records since he was 12 years old and is known worldwide as a specialist for Nigerian music and as a connoisseur of disco and funk from 1974 to 1979 and of »psychedelic rock with not a saxophone in sight«. This musical knowledge can be heard on Soundway’s releases.
