LCD Soundsystem was an music project from New York City, founded in 2001 by James Murphy. It was disbanded in 2011. Next to James Murphy were Nancy Whang, Tyler Pope, Pat Mahoney, Gavin Russom, Al Doyle and David Scott Stone among the musicians.
