Jim O’Rourke

Jim O’Rourke (b. 1969) is an American composer, guitarist and producer from Chicago. From 1991 to 1998 he formed the duo Gastr del Sol together with David Grubbs. From 1999 to 2005 he was the fifth member of Sonic Youth. With Jeff Tweedy and Glen Kotche of Wilco he formed Loose Fur.
