GoodFelons Records is an American Hip hop label from Toronto and New York City, founded by Sean Norris and John Kres (Kres One) in 2010. Driven by the idea that there are a lot of rap albums which are waiting to be rereleased and rediscovered, Sean Norris und John Kres decided to found GoodFelons Records. And there was another decisive thought: »Our intent for running the label was to put out good music that we’d want to own on vinyl. Every single release we’ve done is something I’d want to own on vinyl.« (Sean) It started with »The Prophecy«, Roc Marcianos first release of 1997. This was followed by releases of Descry, Labtekwon, Mood, J Force, Kev-E-Kev & Ak-B or The Arch Druids. This shows that meanwhile it is not just about releasing good old Hip hop but also good current Hip hop. GoodFelons is a label by fans for fans.
