Arthur Russell (Charles Arthur Russell, Jr., 1951-1992) was an American cellist, composer, singer and songwriter from Oskaloosa, Iowa. He is regarded as the most important artist of the post punk movement in New York City at the end of the 1970s and is also known under the pseudonym Dinosaur L.
