OTTO

Wir Kommen

Eine Welt • 2024

OTTO, simple name, good band, even though there are always a few grumblers who say, »wow, as if two people can make a band«. Well, we just say yes, because it doesn’t really matter. After all, it’s about the music, right? And that’s always a blast with OTTO from Berlin. This is synth music from the last days of mankind, or at least from the first days of the home organ. So, roughly from the time when tinsel and mothballs were invented and everyone still smoked in front of the TV. They were good times, no doubt. But it was a long time ago—you have to rummage through a lot of neon sports jackets at Affleck’s Palace to find a suit like this. Anyway, OTTO already have a couple of records under their belt, including one on Bureau B. The new one is coming out on Eine Welt, which OTTO are doing themselves, so you know where you stand because everything comes from a single source, from production to the thank you letter. That’s the way it used to be and that’s the way it still is at OTTO. All we can say is, »hello, nice to see you and auf Wiedersehen!«
