The XJAZZ! Festival is launching a new concert series with a focus on new, experimental and improvised music. Super Silent 1 will take place from 31 October to 2 November 2024 at the Emmauskirche in Berlin-Kreuzberg.

»It’s about creating safe spaces for music and people who are committed to slowing down and can exist far away from the mainstream,« says Sebastian Studnitzky, co-founder of Super Silent. The concerts are also adapted to the acoustics of the Kreuzberg church »to break open the depths of sound that seem to effortlessly capture the audience and silence the noise of everyday life«, as the announcement states.
