On 22 and 23 March 2025, deep bass will take over the Gretchen Club in Berlin-Kreuzberg. The name of the event, Pressure Weekender, leaves no doubt that bass lovers will get their money’s worth here. A glance at the line-up makes it clear that this weekend will be intense.
Saturday is all about dub and grime. The Bug and Flowdan will be bringing their brutal sub-basses to the stage, while Kenyan producer Slikback will be exploring the boundaries of the genre with futuristic club sounds. The line-up is rounded off by Ghost Dubs and the British dub pioneers Iration Steppas, who will make the walls of Gretchen shake with their driving rhythms. Boom!
Sunday is also a blast, even if the force is different. Because ambient and experimental soundscapes are the focus here. But here too you can witness some of the best in their field. The host will be Kevin Richard Martin, with Fennesz and Thomas Köner two legends of electronic music will perform. Not to be missed.
