In terms of vibe, »ANIMALS« fits in with Kassa’s bio. He went to the same Seattle school as Quincy Jones and Jimi Hendrix, sat in class with Macklemore and lived in New York for rent with Spike Lee’s father. Since then, Overall has been on tour with jazz bands, late night bands and hip-hop producers.
Overall released his first album in 2019. The second was called»I Think I’m Good« and was released via Gilles Peterson’s Brownswood Recordings. For »ANIMALS«, the drummer-MC called Danny Brown, Lil B and Shabazz Palaces. Not all of them are coming to the Gretchen. But they should be good too!
