The Offline releases two EPs on one record on 1 November 2024. One is »Les Cigales«, his latest release, the other is »En Clair-Obscur«, his debut from 2022, which will be pressed on vinyl for the first time. It is the second vinyl release by the producer from Hamburg after »La Couleur De La Mer« from 2023. The record will be released via DeepMatter Records. An orange vinyl edition limited to 300 copies is available exclusively from HHV Records.
Into Winter with Summer in your Ear
What’s there to listen to: Beats without nonsense. That means: always nice and instrumental, above all cosy. Felix Müller was by the sea for »Les Cigales«. The sun is always shining there, some people call it summer – so the disc can be prescribed as a cold-resistant anti-everything.
A few cosy videos will also appear for the extended application, because it’s all about storytelling. Our luck: as an analogue photographer, The Offline has an eye for beautiful tones. He points it at the sea and it smells like a holiday. Or the 1960s. Maybe even like David Axelrod. Right now on the approach to winter, which is certainly easier to endure on the Côte d’Azur than on the North Sea.
