The jazz band Masaa will be performing at Berlin’s Emmaus Church on 14 February 2025. This is a great opportunity for anyone who has always wanted to see a double-neck guitar. Or a trumpet. Maybe even a drum kit. Or at least wanted to hear Arabic song lyrics, because: Masaa has it all. A quartet that makes music between »Orient and Occident«. And wants to »create connections«.

Masaa has been around since 2012, since when the band has won the Bremen Jazz Prize and, most recently, the German Jazz Prize. And released their sixth album »Beit« in 2023. ARD says about Masaa: »Only the singer speaks Arabic, his three colleagues don’t understand him on stage – but they feel it«.
