Lex (de Kalhex) has been making hip-hop for 20 years and has been part of the French group Kalhex for just as long. His seventh solo album »When We Will Return« will be released December 1, 2023 on Akromégalie in cooperation with our HHV label. The Parisian beatmaker and MC has produced ten tracks for it, all instrumental, all jazzed up. The feature with Mello-Music-Group carrier Substantial is on top. The Vinyl record is limited to 300 copies.
Who is coming back here and when?
If you’re in the mood for speculation, the title »When We Will Return« is a reunion announcement from Kalhex. Of course, the title could just be a false lead. However, a comeback of the whole band doesn’t seem completely out of the question: Kalhex, whose last album was released in 2012, never officially disbanded.
