Ice Cube is coming to Berlin and bringing a few high rollers of US hip-hop with him: On December 15, 2023, the West Coast MC will be performing with The Game, De La Soul and D12, Slim Shady’s former group. Another special guest has also been announced for the concert at the Max-Schmeling-Halle in Berlin. Who will that be? So far only Ice Cube knows – but in the end everyone will agree: »It Was A Good Day«.

Ice Cube was a member of the hip-hop groups N.W.A. and Westside Connection. His last album »Everythang’s Corrupt« was released in 2018. As an actor, Ice Cube has appeared in films such as »21 Jump Street« and »Ride Along«, and he also produced the N.W.A. biopic »Straight Outta Compton«. De La Soul are one of the OGs in New York. Founding member Trugoy the Dove died in early 2023, and a few months later De La Soul’s debut album »3 Feet High And Rising« landed on streaming platforms for the first time.
The Game recently described himself as “better than Eminem” and challenged him to a battle. This has not yet taken place. And it won’t take place in the Max-Schmeling-Halle either.Eminem has not been active with D12 for some time. He announced the dissolution of the Detroit crew in 2018. However, the remaining members are still touring – most recently as support for Snoop Dogg.
