Enji is going on a tour with her new album »Sonor« in May and will bring her sound, which moves between worlds, live on stage. She will play at the Nachtasyl in Hamburg on May 26th, at the Privatclub in Berlin on May 27th and at the Zirka in Munich on May 29th. The singer, who was born in Ulaanbaatar and lives in Munich, impressively combines elements of traditional Mongolian singing with contemporary jazz. The result are songs that are both playful and get under your skin – characterized by personal reflection, cultural localization, and the bittersweet experience of being in-between.
Bittersweet in-between
Enji speaks of identity, memory, and change without committing to a sound. Her music lives from the vulnerable interplay of voice and atmosphere. Accompanied by renowned musicians such as Elias Stemeseder, Robert Landfermann, Julian Sartorius and Paul Brändle, Enji opens up her musical universe full of subtle nuances with »Sonor«, which will be released on May 2, 2025 via Squama.
