Acid Arab will come to Germany and Austria for a few gigs in early 2023. They will have their third album »٣« in their luggage. Anyone who has heard the first single »Halim Guelil« will already be spinning the disco ball in Beirut. Less acid, more glitter, but autotune and Arabic dialects – Kenzi Bourras, Guido Minisky, Pierrot Casanova, Nicolas Borne, Hervé Carvalho push the Acid Arab sound in a direction between Turkish wedding and UFO361.
New formula, but sound identity stays
»We are aware that we stand for a sound identity,« Acid Arab write in the announcement for the new album. »But we are careful not to repeat the same formula on every album.« »٣« will therefore be about the »relationships between singers and musicians«, that »develop the concept of Acid Arab«. The album will be released in early 2023 on Crammed Disc, where »Musique De France« and »Jdid« has been released too.
