Leon Bridges is releasing his fourth album. It is called »Leon« and will be released on October 4, 2024 by Columbia Records. HHV Records will offer an exclusive bone colored vinyl edition. The record is a »self-portrait« and a »journey« through Leon’s hometown of Fort Worth, Texas- the sixteenth largest city in the USA after all. That’s probably why it will be »personal«, as the record’s lyrics reveal. If you listen to the advance single »Peaceful Place«, you know that the Grammy-winning soul singer is doing well.
It’s getting »personal«
Leon recorded the album with great producers such as Ian Fitchuk and Tyler Johsnon. Their names are often followed by others, such as Beyoncé or Harry Styles. This means that the Champions League is in the studio and at the controls. And that’s where “Leon” is heading – although with twelve million monthly listeners, they’ve long since stopped playing in the minor leagues.
